Finances at a New Address

Introduction

Welcome to the final module of our course!

This time we’ll focus on a topic that’s extremely important for anyone starting to build their life in a new country. We’ll talk about how to protect your money and data in the digital world, which is omnipresent in Poland. What might have been everyday life back home takes on a new dimension here, because more and more things are handled online, and cashless payments have become the standard.

It’s worth remembering that knowledge of Polish is key here, but initially it can be a barrier. Scammers know this well and often exploit difficulties in understanding messages to mislead recipients. That’s why it’s so important for you to learn the basic rules and methods that will allow you to take care of your financial security and maintain peace of mind in everyday situations.

  • Digital finance:
Online and mobile banking – how to use them safely. Cashless payments (cards, BLIK, mobile payments) – how they work and how to use them in Poland.
  • Internet security:

  • Basics of safe online shopping:

  • Personal data protection:
In times when personal data has become currency, we must protect it.
