Phone scams: A true story

Ms. Anna from Konin lost more than 22 thousand zlotys as a result of a “for BLIK” scam. Scammers claiming to be bank employees tricked her out of more than a dozen BLIK codes.

Remember! Genuine financial institutions never ask for BLIK codes or other confidential data over the phone. If someone asks for them, end the call immediately and contact the bank at an official number.
